Welcome to A Song of Ink and Fire: My ENC 1101 E-Portfolio, a personal project of my writing journey at Valencia College. As Lina Filozof, I invite you to explore my ePortfolio - my small kingdom of writing from ENC 1101 – Composition I. Two years ago, I crossed my own Narrow Sea from Ukraine to the United States. Since then, writing in English has been like learning the language of a new kingdom: new laws, new customs, new expectations.
My campaign
This site is a map of my campaign through the semester. Each page is like a different region of Westeros, showing how I fought with drafts, made alliances with feedback, and learned to command new kinds of texts. Together, these artifacts tell the story of how my writing grew from a nervous squire into something closer to a trained knight.
